Great idea, great site. Givem Hell.

Wouldn't web advertising be profitable for him? Kind of like being forced to watch trailers at the theater he could insert commercials. Not that I'm wanting him to make a dime or anything but I'm curious.

I disagree that Michael Moore should release his movie on the internet. It's meant to convert dumb republic redneck hicks down south, most of which live in a dump and don't have internet access. They vote republican because they're told to vote republican, and a cinema would affect them because they'd see it more easily than downloading it off their 28.8K modem. Besides, Michael moore needs to recoup the costs from making his "documentary".

My response to Ivan:
It's more than just the dumb hicks down south Moore is trying to convince. Many Republicans that support Bush are, in fact, quite wealthy. The nation is quite polarized right now over the upcoming election, split 50/50, with roughly half supporting Bush and half supporting Kerry. You will find quite a wide variety of different people that support each candidate, not just rednecks from the South. The film will be pirated anyway, whether Moore releases it or not. Star Wars Episode 1 was pirated days before it was released in theaters, but that didn't stop it from going on to gross millions upon millions at the box office. I believe if Moore were to release it online, he would gain a ton of respect from his critics, and a ton of press that would result in his movie being even more popular and well liked, and ultimately get more people out voting.
